What better place to start than with the International Prize shortlist for 2025? I ran to the bookstore, purchased the books they had in stock, and immediately dove in. The first book I chose to start with was Under the Eye of the Big Bird by Hiromi Kawakami; I've heard nothing but praise for her writing.
